Short Term Bridge

Forward Commitments

When the need exists to secure a loan in the future, particularly the amount and interest rate, a forward loan commitment may be prudent. For instance, the property is being built, renovated or a large tenant is secured but rent commencement is in the future. A borrower can eliminate the guesswork of what the future terms will be and secure them at the present time with a forward commitment.
